I have to go away for a few days, possibly even a week. See you when I get back.

Have fun?
Maybe, Don. I’m just going through the blues and need to spend some time over the next few with my family. Nothing big or important, just necessary for my peace of mind. Take care and I’ll be back to your blog for much needed laughter!
I hope you are feeling better now 🙂
I am, thanks! 🙂
🙂 Cheer up and recoup, I’ll send positive thoughts your way. 🙂 Take care of yourself, or better yet– make your family take care of you for you. 😀
Thanks Rara! They worked 🙂 I’ve taken more time than intended and am kinda back. Meow!
Hurrah! It’s great to have you back, even if it’s just kinda. 😀
See you when you get back 🙂
Thanks – I’m back 😀
Yay! 🙂
Sorry you have the blues. Let me know if there is anything I can write to make you feel better!
Gosh, thanks Jonathan! I’m feeling better and will be stopping by for some of your great words. Sorry I didn’t reply earlier – I had to avoid the internet.
All OK with me. I am happy to hear from you!! 🙂
I hope you have a wonderful time away! 🙂 I know what you mean about the blues though! I have been moping around myself. Maybe it is from residual winter blues.
Thank you – I did. I’m in Florida and we didn’t really have a winter, but it still might be seasonal. I hope you are not feeling mopey any more either 🙂
I hope the break recharges your batteries
Thanks Pete – it really did help!
Sending hugs and positive charges your way!
Thanks Punky – they totally worked! 🙂
I can’t like this because you are missed, but I do hope you are enjoying your time off! I also hope it has nothing to do with your book’s ending and that all goes well on that front (and every other).
Thanks – yeah, I needed to get off the internet. Sometimes it exacerbates my blues and I need reality feet-in-the-grass time or I get pretty low. I’ve been spending time with my family and dog mostly, so I’m pretty well cheered by now. The book is good and I got the thumbs up from the agent on the ending.
Glad to hear it! Also glad to hear you are cured of your blues, grass underfoot is an excellent cure for many ailments!
I’m also very glad you’re back!
Don’t stay away to long..

Thanks Shaun – you are a sweet one! 🙂
I do try 🙂
Hope you are ok for whatever reason you are away for a while..
Shaun x
Yeah – I just needed to spend time away from the computer and spend it with my family and dog instead. Hope you are doing good too. Big hugs to you!
Good on ya, sometimes we all need a break from things.
Hope you and your family are well..
Hugs back
Shaun
March 27 was my birthday–I hope things have been going well.
Happy Birthday Mark! May you have many more. Things have been good, thanks! Hope things are good with you too and that you are completing all of your tasks 🙂
Come back George. Hope everything is better now 🙂
I’m back Nada, and in good spirits once again! 🙂
Also, I got a chance to recommend your book to a nice Moroccan lady I met at a jewelry store. She raved about female Arabian writers (that I wasn’t acquainted with) and I told her about you – hope she buys your book!!
George, I just got back from my “break,” the mental health conference. Left early because I got too depressed, and I’m laughing at the irony. Will start blogging again tomorrow.
Thanks so much for your good wishes. Hope nobody thinks we took a break the same time and cyber-ran off together, LOL. Glad you got some quality time in with family, and glad that you, like Brian Miller, recognize the importance of taking a break from time to time. Peace, Amy
That is too funny, Amy! 🙂 I might have gotten depressed too – conferences have the ability to make me feel very lonely and isolated. Plus room service usually isn’t what it’s cracked up to be.
If only we had! I can only imagine the trouble/fun! we’d get into at karaoke nightclubs 🙂 Hey, who’s Brian Miller? Peace to you too, always!
You haven’t met Brian? He’s one of the creatives gurus at dverse poets. Check out their Tuesday Open Mic night. Post around 2 pm EST or you’ll be, like, #143! It’s an eclectic group with different prompts each day.
The amazing thing about Brian is, he seems to be all over the place. He connects with poets on a daily basis, great comments… you’ll find out. As talented a writer as you are, I’m surprised your paths have not crossed yet… but you will! Wishing you peace. Amy
Thanks Amy – I’ll check him out! Sounds interesting 🙂

More like dropping my useless random thoughts into the blog. I’ll definitely be dropping in on you soon.
Mind and bring Pizza…
Cheers 😉
lol
Hi George, Sorry I’ve been absent, but I do hope you’re doing better…:)
Lauren
🙂 Thanks Lauren, I am. I’ve been absent too. Hope all is well with you and your sizzling poetry 😉
Glad to hear you’re doing better! And not all of my poetry sizzles! 🙂
Thanks. I disagree… a good portion does. I get a better taste of what love is from some of your poems than I do from reading many a romance novel. Good stuff there 🙂
